We are lucky enough to have our own camp site which is available to all of our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts for camping and activities and is situated near Box Hill in Surrey.
Its’ name, ‘Kings Oak’ recognises its’ history as the weekend home of the Group’s first Scout Master William King. (Read more about the history (click here)
The site has a small bungalow with two rooms fitted with bunk beds allowing for it to be used in all weathers and a mess hut with gas lighting and a wood burning stove.
The local shop a short walk away ensures that supplies never dry up.
Nearby Headley Heath provides a fantastic opportunity for all sections to complete their outdoor challenges from hiking to compass work, tree identification, wide games and bark rubbings.
Kings Oak is a great place to enjoy the adventures of Scouting.
