Summer Camp 2022

Date: 5th Aug 2022 Author: Ingrid Hodges

The scouts enjoyed a gloriously warm week for the start of the Summer holidays with a record number of scouts attending this year.  They returned to a field in Mayfield in East Sussex for a fantastic week of activities.  The annual Summer Camp is always a highlight of the Troop calendar but Covid had thwarted the last couple of years.  Activities included kayaking, rifle shooting, archery, swimming, abseiling, rock climbing, making and sleeping in ‘bivvies’, wide games and so much more.    Thank you to all the leaders, young leaders and other volunteers who assisted before and during the week to make it such a successful camp.

Below are just a few of the fantastic photos including an aerial shot taken from a microlight.
