1st Cheam Scout to join World Jamboree

One of the Group’s Scouts has been selected to join the Greater London South West and UK contingent at the 2023 World Scout Jamboree, to be held in South Korea.

‘ This is brilliant news and a fantastic opportunity for one of our Scouts to join other Scouts from across the World in a display of friendship and unity as members of the World’s largest youth organisation. World Jamboree’s only happen once every 4 years and places are at an absolute premium. We last had a Scout at a Jamboree back in 1995 so to have a Group represented at one of these events again is really good to see’ (1st Cheam Scout Leader).

As part of the challenge the Scout concerned has a huge amount of fundraising to achieve over the next 15 months.
