Each Year the Scout Section hire a Canal Boat and cruise along the famous British Canals. Some years it has been two. The Midland Canals often see the Scouts of 1st Cheam during their Easter Holidays.The pictures shown below are of their trip in 2007 the year Scouting celebrated 100 years of excitement and adventure. Many Scouts over the years have committed the cardinal sin of dropping the lock gate key in the canal.
