Plans for fundraising events at Sainsbury’s, Asda, Civil Service Benevolent Fund Offices and Sutton United FC were organised. |

There was still time after the sleepover for another round of fundraising. This included a bag-packing session at Asda a bucket collection during a Sutton United FC football match and selling Hot Cross Buns to the local office of The civil Service Benevolent Fund. The success of the fundraising ensured that there was NO increase in price and a coach for travel to and from Gilwell Park was made possible.

At Last the Day Saturday 23rd May 2009 had arrived. Lets load the coach and get on our way 37 Cubs, A Scout and an Explorer plus Leaders were setting off for Gilwell |
