1st Cheam Scouts Introduction

1st Cheam is a progressive 'go ahead' Scout Group formed 80 years ago. We offer a wide range of activities based on weekly meetings for boys and girls in the age ranges 6 - 8 years, 8 - 11 years and 11 to 15 years.

Outside of the weekly meetings we offer other activities appropriate to each age range which include for example, fun days, visits and excursions, camping, canal cruising holidays and hill walking trips.

As a part of the 'Scout Association' the Group follows the progressive training and award scheme set by the association and follows the policies and rules as set out by the Scout Association. Further information is available on the Scout Web site.
1st Cheam is a registered charity run by unpaid voluntary leaders.

If you have an interest in joining the Group as a voluntary adult leader or you would like to register your son or daughter to join in the fun of Scouting with 1st Cheam, please do not hesitate to contact us, OR just drop into our headquarters building in Cheam, Surrey on any of the nights below and speak with any of the adult leaders.

6 - 8 years Fridays 18.30 - 20.00 hours.

8 - 11 years Mondays or Thursdays 18.30 - 20.15 hours.

11 - 15 years Tuesdays 19.15 - 21.15 hours.
